The former U.S. Olympic Champion, motivational speaker, television personality and father of six children finally unveiled his new gender identity on the cover of Vanity Fair’s issue of July 2015. Former William Bruce Jenner who appeared as a transgender woman known as Caitlyn Jenner seems to be be happy and fulfilled. She also joined Twitter and Facebook as Caitlyn Jenner, sharing the Vanity Fair cover and expressing her excitement about “living her true self.”
The cover photo was shot by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. Many transgender advocates cheered the cover as another step forward in bringing awareness to transgender people and their issues.
