Former president of Nigeria, GEJ kept his promise of returning to his home town if he loses the last election. Right after the inauguration, the ex-president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and his wife, took a flight to Port Harcourt on the way to his home town, Otuoke in Bayelsa State. To his utmost dismay, he received a very warm welcome as opposed to his speculations that his people will curse or boo him. According to Oliver Goldsmith, “He who fights and runs away, may live to fight another day; but he who is battle slain, Can never rise to fight again”. Kudos to him for making a very smart decision.
