The 2014 World Cup Opening Ceremony marks the beginning of the Soccer tournament in Brazil. The event which was filled with colourful celebration such as dance and music took place at The Arena Corinthians, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Music stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and Brazilian pop-star Claudia Leitte jointly performed the official World Cup song ‘We Are One [Ole Ola]’. The ceremony was followed by the opening match of the tournament between hosts Brazil and Croatia. The match ended 3-1 in favour of Brazil. The show was broken into three acts – people and football, nature and people wearing tree-like outfits running around a gigantic ball of Led lights.
