Ok, first of all, the former olympian had a laryngeal shave [a surgical procedure that flattens out the Adam’s apple] done on him. Since then he’s been going through some radical physical changes such as breast development, growing out his hair and nails in a noticeable way. He also wants a smaller nose according to TMZ. Even with all these obvious changes, Bruce has refused to utter a word to his family about it, but some of the changes are obviously markers of gender reassignment. Could it be an issue of identity crisis?
