It is officially confirmed that Khloe Kardashian has finally filed for divorce from husband, Lamar Odom on Friday December 13, 2013 in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The move was actually expected, because there’s been months of rift rumors concerning their marital struggles. According to TMZ, she also filed court documents for her name to be restored to just Khloe Kardashian, no more Kardashian-Odom. She is not asking for spousal support and hopes Lamar does the same.
In the court document, the reality TV star cited irreconcilable differences, seeking to dissolve the four-year marriage to the pro basketball player. Remember the “ironclad prenup” the signed? That will ensure that the split goes accordingly – “No victor, No vanquished.” The couple has been going through marriage counselling in recent weeks due to Lamar’s alleged substance abuse issues, but to no avail. According to TMZ, the final blow for the starlet came when Lamar posted a weird rap in which he dropped his infidelity hint stating “And when Khloe’s out of town, I still be on the DL.”
The couple had an E! sponsored wedding ceremony in September 2009 after a month of courtship. At least the marriage lasted more than people speculated. I wish them good luck.
