Nelson Mandela who led his country out of decades of apartheid died on Thursday December 5, 2013 at the age of 95. He went from anti- apartheid activist to prisoner and then to South Africa’s first black president. He spent 27 years in prison, was married three times, had 6 children, 17 grand children and many great grand children. May his soul RIP.
