Derek Medina, 31, a property supervisor in Miami shot and killed his 26-year-old wife Jennifer Alfonso, on August 8, and then posted a graphic photo of her corpse on Facebook. He told residents of his townhouse complex that he possessed a concealed weapon permit and belonged to a neighborhood watch patrol.
Derek posted the photo along with disturbing messages, before driving to his father’s house,where he confessed killing his wife. They both drove to the police department where he turned himself in and admitted he killed his wife. He’s currently charged with first-degree murder and ordered to be held without bond.
According to public records, Medina and Alfonso first married in January 2010, divorced in February 2012 and then remarried three months later.
