President Obama has sometimes been accused of showing too little emotion in public and appearing aloof. Finally, he displayed a very raw emotion while addressing his young campaign workers a day after he won the election this week in Chicago.
In his speech, he said : “What you guys have done means the work that I’m doing is important. I’m really proud of that. I’m really proud of all of you,” the president says just before tears come down his cheeks.
‘When I come here and I look at all of you what comes to mind is not that you guys actually remind me of myself its the fact that you are so much better than I was in so many ways- you’re smarter, you’re better organized, you’re more effective.
‘I’m absolutely confident that all of you are going to do just amazing things in your lives. You’re just going to do great things. He added.
Yes, president Obama is human. Also, real men do cry, it is not a taboo. Whether he won by a razor-thin magin or land slide, bottom line is that he’s going to rule this God’s Own country for another four years. Congratulations Mr. President.
