A 22-year old Chinese man simply known as Xiaolin has a replacement nose on his forehead after damaging his original nose in a car accident. The terrific accident happened in August 2012. All efforts by surgeons to repair his original nose proved abortive, so they created a new nose on his forehead using cartilage from his ribs and a skin tissue expander. Surgeons are planning to carry out transplant surgery to the artificial nose in place of the original nose in near future. The procedure was carried out at a hospital in Fuzhou, Fujian province. This is extreme ‘nose job.’

Karen Lucas, a Kenyan artiste celebrated her 30th birthday recently with a black ‘grave-site’ cake, wearing a devil’s horn and holding the knife as if she’s trying to stab something.The black cake was decorated to look like a grave site on green grass, with flowers on top, a shovel in brown sand and also a cross clearly written: ’30’ – 1983-2013.’ Creepy indeed!

This incident happened in Markurdi, Benue State Nigeria. According to sources, the two girls were fighting over a ‘sugar daddy,’ so the aggressor felt that her best friend stabbed her in the back by snatching her man and decided to teach her a lesson. So when the aggressor went to confront her friend about the matter, the victim called her mum a prostitute [ashawo] and she got offended and took laws into her hands. Now, the on-lookers who saw the severity of the injury ordered the aggressor to go ‘butt-naked to serve as punishment for her actions. When the girl refused, they decided to do it for her with force. Wow!! It looks like stripping people off their cloths is the latest punishment in Africa.

A 43-year-old woman, recently stunned her husband before the Igando Customary Court in Lagos State, when she alleged that sex with her husband was pure torment.

The woman, who had filed for divorce proceedings against her husband, alleged that he exhibited strange behaviours while having sex with her. According to her testimony, he waited for her to sleep, then without her consent, takes her clothes off and had sex with her, without caring if she enjoyed it or not.

The lady simply identified as Omolara further told the court that her husband uses aboniki balm, mentholatum and dusting powder,during sex for lubrication, `adding that these things made her hate having sex with him.

She testified that she met her husband 14 years ago and bore him three children, adding that their major quarrel was based on the fact that she didn’t know what he does for a living.

In his defence, the 44 year-old husband stated that he met his wife at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, at the time things were going on well for him and it was with his money that he trained her in the university.

He further stated that after a while, he started experiencing financial difficulties and could not complete his education.

“I want to perform my obligations as a father and husband, but I am handicapped,” he said.

The case was adjourned till September 25.
